Following a terrible 0 – 3 start, the Kansas city chiefs will be trying to win their fifth game consecutively this week when they host the 0 – 7 Dolphins. The Chiefs lost several crucial competitors for the remainder of the year, including running back Jamaal Charles, after they started the year being outscored 89 – 10 in their first two matches. Since then, they have become the first squad in Nfl history to start the year 0-3 and have at least a tie for their division lead four weeks later.

Nevertheless, the schedule makers may deserve some of the credit for their spectacular transformation. During their winning streak, they played two teams that were in last place and a third (Oakland raiders) that was battling an unsettled situation at the qb position. Nevertheless, a match they didn’t play in may have delivered them their biggest break. Their chief division rival, the San diego chargers, were minutes away from a win when a fumbled snap cost them the game. This week they play a Dolphin squad that has yet to win this year.

Regardless of how they are winning matches, they are winning them. The Chiefs are going to be looking for their first five-game winning streak since 2003.
On the other side of the spectrum are the Miami Dolphins. Even with the reality that they haven’t won a match yet this year, they’ve had leads late in several matches. Nevertheless, they have been unable to finish them out.
Miami is hoping running back Reggie Bush will be able to pick up where he left off this past week. His 103 yards on 15 carries this past week gave him the second 100 yard performance of his career. However, it may be a little bit more tough for Bush if his rookie center Mike Pouncey is not able to return from a recent neck injury.
The champion will probably be determined based on whether Bush and Daniel Thomas are able to run at the Kansas City defense.
