In an SEC matchup at Razorback Stadium this coming Saturday, the 8th ranked Arkansas Razorbacks (8-1) battle against the unranked Tennessee Volunteers (4-5). The Razorbacks need this win to keep their hopes alive for a major bowl appearance. The Razorbacks Qb Tyler Wilson (195 completions – 316 attempts for 2626 yards) has been putting up outstanding statistics for a number of weeks now, and is a major reason the Razorbacks are on a Five game winning streak. Averaging 318 yards per game, the Razorbacks are 8th in the country in passing.

Football bets

Arkansas can effortlessly score from almost any place on the field and has a bundle of big-play offensive threats. Running backs Dennis Johnson (66 carries – 411 yards – 1 Touchdown) and Broderick Green (43 carries – 109 yards – 4 TD) have combined to give Arkansas a good rushing attack. Wide receivers Jarius Wright (48 receptions – 812 yards – 9 TD) and Joe Adams (41 receptions – 516 yards – 1 Touchdown) make the Razorbacks passing attack a force to be reckoned each game.

Gamble on fights

The Hogs defense, ranked 40th in the country, allows an average of 23 points per game. Yet they almost always finish the job late, when the game is on the line.

This season has been somewhat of a catastrophe for the Tennessee Volunteers. They’re 0-5 against SEC opponents this year, and must win two of their remaining 3 competitions to have any desires for a bowl appearance.

The Vols celebrity Qb Tyler Bray broke his thumb against Georgia earlier this season, a game they lost, and is woefully missed. His loss gave Tennessee almost no desires of winning their next two competitions against SEC juggernauts Alabama and LSU, which obviously they lost.

Additionally, the Vols lost their top wide receiver, Justin Hunter, to a torn ACL in their loss to Florida in week 3. Tennessee has lost four of their last five competitions, and has lost four in a row on the road.

At home the Razorbacks look good to win this match over Tennessee, who haven’t been outstanding in an injury prone season.
