This 49ers will take this game for one straightforward reason – they are much better than the St Louis Rams in every area of the game. Having said this, it is not going to be a rout as such. The 49ers simply do not have the offensive philosophy or firepower to blow out other teams, even ones as negative as the St Louis Rams. Still, it is possible to go ahead and add a victory to the 49ers record and, obviously, yet another loss to the record of the St Louis Rams too.
