The Detroit Lions are arriving from of a challenging loss vs division foe and leader, Green Bay Packers. The game was close all the way up until the 3rd quarter when Aaaron Rodgers started firing on all cylinders. The Detroit Lions required the win to increase their standing in the division to try and get a wildcard play-off place over their other foe, the Bears.

Looking ahead, the Saints and the Detroit Lions is a game that can happen comparable to that of the New York versus Saints game or it might be a good deal closer. Watch for Matt Stafford who only returned from injury to connect more with All-Pro wide receiver 6’5″, Calvin Johnson. The Detroit Lions will be lacking start defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh after he was thrown from their Thanksgiving Day game and now suspended for the next 2 weeks.
This should make life a good deal less complicated on Drew Brees to connect with Marquis Colston and Greshman to total another good offensive outing vs a defense that’s going to be hurting lacking Suh to stuff up the middle. Also, because of not having Suh up there watch for the Saints to try and get the run game going.
This game might be close early on but most experts would agree that no one will probably stop the red hot 8-3 Saints as they try and close in San Francisco. As a result of the injury of Jay Cutler, however, the Bears will be depleted, and the Detroit Lions will be doing all of it in their arsenal to get back in the play-off hunt.
